Wilmington has two Saturday-morning farmers markets: the Riverfront Farmers Market on Dock Street downtown, open into late November, and the Wilmington Farmers Market at Tidal Creek Co-op on Oleander Drive, held every Saturday.

Riverfront Farmers Market

The downtown market sets up on Dock Street between Second and Water streets in the historic district every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, according to the market’s site. The 2026 season opened April 18, and Wilmington Downtown Inc.’s events listing gives the last market of the season as Saturday, Nov. 21. The market is managed by Cool Wilmington and posts cancellations on its Facebook page.

Wilmington Farmers Market at Tidal Creek

Held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tidal Creek Co-op, 5329 Oleander Drive, according to the co-op’s market page. Questions go to Tidal Creek at 910-799-2667.

Poplar Grove Outdoor Market

Poplar Grove, on U.S. 17 north of the city, runs a Wednesday market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in spring and summer. The 2026 season ran May 20 to Sept. 30, according to Poplar Grove; we will update the dates when it announces 2027.
